Avocado Developer

Boil the skins of 4 avocados in 2 L. of water

Let steep

Cool to room temperature

Avocado Developer

1 L. avocado tea

80g washing soda

20g vitamin C

Combine ingredients in above order until dissolved

Temperature of mixture may increase (exothermic reaction)

Heat to 24°C

METHOD

Done in total darkeness

Water rinse 1 min.
Avocado Developer 18 min. at 24°C
Agitate once every minute
Water rinse 3 min.
Fix - chemical 6 min. OR eco fix 3 days
water rinse 10 min.
Hang dry

Blueberry Developer

Boil 1 cup of blueberries in 1.5L of water

Let steep

Cool to room temperature

Blueberry-ol Developer

1 L. blueberry tea

90g washing soda

16g vitamin C

Combine ingredients in above order until dissolved

Temperature of mixture may increase

Heat to 25°C

METHOD

Done in total darkeness

Water rinse 1 min.
Blueberry-ol Developer 30 min. at 25°C
Agitate gently every 30 seconds
Water rinse 3 min. (double rinse if needed)
Fix - chemical 6 min.
water rinse 10 min.
Hang dry

Asparagus Developer

Boil a handful of asparagus in 2 L. of water

Let steep

Cool to room temperature

Asparagol Developer

1 L. asapragus tea

80g washing soda

20g vitamin C

Combine ingredients in above order until dissolved

Temperature of mixture may increase (exothermic reaction)

Heat to 24°C

METHOD

Done in total darkeness

Water rinse 1 min.
Asparagol Developer 20 min. at 24°C
Agitate once every minute
Water rinse 3 min.
Fix - chemical 6 min.
water rinse 10 min.
Hang dry

Dragon Fruit Developer

Peel and coarsley cut the skin of 1 Dragon Fruit

Boil in 2 L. of water

Let steep

Cool to room temperature

Dragon Fruit Developer

1 L. Dragon Fruit tea

80g washing soda

20g vitamin C

Combine ingredients in above order until dissolved

Temperature of mixture may increase

Heat to 40°C

METHOD

Done in total darkeness

Water rinse 1 min.
Dragon Fruit Developer 40 min. at 40°C
Agitate gently every 30 seconds
Water rinse 3 min.
Fix - chemical 6 min.
water rinse 10 min.
Hang dry

Kale Developer and Reversal

3 cups of kale in 1.5 L of water

Let steep

Cool to room temperature

Kale Developer

1 L. Kale tea

40g washing soda

20g vitamin C

(reuse this mixture for 2nd developer)

Combine ingredients in above order until dissolved

Temperature of mixture may increase

Heat to 24°C

Eco-reversal bleach

210 ml 35% hydrogen peroxide
720 ml water
70 ml vinegar (5% acetic acid)

METHOD

Done in total darkeness or lomo tank

Water wash 3 min. at 21°C
1st Kale Developer 15 min. at 24°C
Agitate gently once every minute
Water wash 3 min. at 27°C
Eco-Reversal Bleach 10 min. at 39°C
Water wash 3 min. at 32°C
Expose to light 300 watt light at 1 metre 2 min. and 30 sec.
**next steps can be in normal light**
2nd Kale Developer 9 min. at 26°C
Water wash 3 min. at 21°C
Fix 6 min. room temperature°C
Water rinse 10 min.
Hang to dry

Eggplant Developer

Boil the peel of 1 eggplant in 4 L. of water

Let steep

Cool to room temperature

Eggplant Developer

1 L. eggplant tea

50g washing soda

20g vitamin C

Combine ingredients in above order until dissolved

Temperature of mixture may increase

Heat to 24°C

METHOD

Done in total darkeness

Water rinse 1 min.
Eggplant Developer 15 min. at 24°C
Agitate once every minute
Water rinse 3 min.
Fix - chemical 6 min.
water rinse 10 min.
Hang dry

Ugli Fruit

Boil 2 ugli fruit (cut up) in 4 L. of water

Let steep

Cool to room temperature

Ugli 'ol Fruit Developer'

1 L. Ugli Fruit tea

90g washing soda

16g vitamin C

Combine ingredients in above order until dissolved

Temperature of mixture may increase

Heat to 28°C

METHOD

Done in total darkeness or lomo tank

Water wash 1 min.
Ugli 'ol Fruit Developer 22 min. at 27°C
Agitate gently once every minute
Water rinse 3 min.
Fix - chemical 6 min.
Water rinse 10 min.
Hang to dry

Red Onion Developer

1 onion chopped into quarters

Boil in 2 L of water

Let steep

Cool to room temperature

Red Onion Developer

1 L. red onion tea

90g washing soda

20g vitamin C

Combine ingredients in above order until dissolved

Temperature of mixture may increase

Heat to 24°C

METHOD

Done in total darkeness

Water wash 1 min.
Red Onion Developer 20 min. at 24°C
Agitate once every minute
Water rinse 3 min.
Fix - chemical 6 min.
water rinse 10 min.
Hang dry

Juice 6 yams in an electric juicer

Yam-ol Developer

1 L. Yam Juice

100g washing soda

20g vitamin C

Develop for 20 min. @ 28°C

Yam-ol Developer #2

Take the pulp from the juicer OR

boil down six yams

Strain and cool

Develop for 20 min. @ 28°C

Canberry-ol Developer

Boil 340 g of cranberries in 4 litres of water

Strain and cool liquid

Canberry-ol Developer

1 L. Cranberry tea

100g washing soda

20g vitamin C

Develop for 20 min. @ 40°C

Walnutol Developer

Boil 4 cracked walnuts in 1.5 litres of water till water is very dark

Strain and cool liquid

80g washing soda

20g vitamin C

Develop for 27 min. @ 35°C

Red Grapeol Developer

Boil 150 grapes in 1 cup of water for a 500ml recipe

Strain and cool liquid

Green "Beam" Developer

Boil 325g green string beans in 1.5 litres of water

Strain and cool liquid
