Caffenol and Beyond
Caffenol
1 L. of water (room temperature)
54 g washing soda
16 g vitamin C
40g cheap instant coffee
Combine ingredients in above order until dissolved
Temperature of mixture will increase (exothermic reaction)
Cool to 21°C
Method for black & white negative film
Must be done in total darkness
Water rinse 1 min.
Caffenol Develop 15 min. (agitating gently)
Water rinse 3 min. if you want to preserve your fixer you can do this water rinse step again.
Fix - chemical 6 min OR Eco fix 3 days
Water rinse 10 min.
Hang dry
Dagie's Eco Fix
250 g salt
250 ml water
Disolve the salt in water
Add film to solution in the dark.
Leave for 3 days (in the dark)
Weed-ol Dandelions
Chop 79 g of dandelion leaves
Boil in 1.5 L. of water, let steep
Cool to room temperature
Combine in order:
1 L. of dandelion tea
100 g of washing soda
20 g of Vitamin C
Method
Water Rinse 3 min.
Weedol Develop 12 min. at 25°C
Agitate gently every 30 sec.
Water rinse/wash 5 min.
Chemical Fix 6 min.
Water Rinse 10 min.
Weed-ol Colt's Foot
Chop 134g of colt's foot leaves
Boil in 1.5 L. of water, let steep
Cool to room temperature
Combine in order:
1 L. of colt's food tea
100 g of washing soda
20 g of Vitamin C
Method
Water Rinse 3 min.
Weedol Develop 12 min. at 25°C
Agitate gently every 30 sec.
Water rinse/wash 5 min.
Chemical Fix 6 min.
Water Rinse 10 min.
Weed-ol Goldenrod
Chop 6 - 7 golden rod flower heads
(shake off any insects before boiling)
Boil in 1.5 L. of water, let steep
Cool to room temperature
Combine in order:
1 L. of golden rod tea
100 g of washing soda
20 g of Vitamin C
Method
Water Rinse 3 min.
Weedol Develop 12 min. at 25°C
Agitate gently every 30 sec.
Water rinse/wash 5 min.
Chemical Fix 6 min.
Water Rinse 10 min.
One Kind of Eco-Reversal Bleach
220 ml 35% hydrogen peroxide
700 ml water
80 ml vinegar - 5% acetic acid

| Final Wash | 10 min. | 21°C |

200 ml 35% hydrogen peroxide
300 ml water
13.5 g citric acid powder
